Founder Kirsty Coates experienced eczema and sensitive skin as a child. When her own child experienced similar skin problems, Kirsty set about creating a product that she could use and share with other mothers. Kirsty’s mother is a doctor and herbalist and grew up with her mother’s intergenerational and bicultural knowledge of plants and their healing properties, in particular, that gentle plants are equally effective.
